After running Walkies & Whiskers for the last two years, I've experienced this problem from both sides.
As demand for my own dog walking services has grown, I've become fully booked, even with the support of my amazing freelancer Kim. Every week sometimes, I receive enquiries from wonderful pet owners that I simply can't accommodate.
All I could do was provide a list of local dog walkers and wish them luck.
But that wasn't really helping.
Owners still had to contact each business individually, explain their requirements over and over again and hope someone had space available.
At the same time, I know many excellent dog walkers and pet businesses have gaps in their diary.
Not because they aren't experienced.
Not because they don't provide an excellent service.
But because running a business is hard.
Many independent businesses don't have the time to focus on SEO, Google rankings, websites or social media while also caring for pets every day.
That's why I decided to create the Walkies & Whiskers Dog Walkers & Pet Services Network.

The aim of the network is simple.
To make it easier for pet owners to find trusted local dog walkers and pet professionals without spending hours searching online or contacting multiple businesses.
Businesses within the network can register their areas covered and keep me updated with their current availability.
When I receive an enquiry, I already know who may be able to help.
That means:
